Club Welfare Officer
The Club Welfare Officer (CWO) is the first point of contact for any safeguarding or welfare concerns at Coney Hall F.C.

If you ever have a concern, no matter how small it may seem, you can speak to the Welfare Officer in confidence.

If your concern involves the Club Welfare Officer, you can contact the Kent County FA Safeguarding Team directly.

Reporting a Safeguarding Concern
If you are worried about the welfare of a child or young person, it is important to report your concern as soon as possible.

You can:

Speak to a coach or club official, who can pass the concern on
Speak directly to the Club Welfare Officer
Contact the County FA Safeguarding Team
Contact the FA Safeguarding Team or NSPCC

You do not need proof to raise a concern - it's always better to share a worry than keep it to yourself.

Breaches of the Codes of Conduct may result in disciplinary action in line with FA guidance or expulsion from the club.

We work hard to ensure a safe environment for all players by following FA best practice in relation to:

Appropriate supervision of children
Safe use of changing facilities
Photography and video recording
Online communication and social media use
Transport arrangements
Safeguarding of medical and personal information

DBS Checks & Safer Recruitment
All managers, coaches, team officials and volunteers who work with children:

Hold a valid FA-accepted DBS check
Have completed FA safeguarding training
Are appointed in line with FA Safer Recruitment guidelines
